To strengthen our decentralized HR team, we are looking for a committed HR Generalist / HR Business Partner (60–80%) for our Lugano location, starting on 1 October 2026 or by agreement.
This is a hands-on HR role with a strong focus on Swiss HR administration, payroll-related processes, social insurance and HR controlling, combined with advisory responsibilities for employees and Team Leads.
In Lugano, you will work closely with our experienced Senior HR Business Partner, who is already part of the local team. Together with her and the wider decentralized HR team, you will ensure a strong HR presence for our employees and Team Leads. You will complement each other in terms of expertise and responsibilities and jointly contribute to the continued growth and internationalization of adesso Switzerland.
WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE
As a reliable and hands-on HR professional, you support employees and Team Leads throughout the employee life cycle. Your main focus is on the accurate and efficient handling of Swiss HR administration, payroll-related processes, social insurance and HR data. At the same time, you provide pragmatic advice and support on a broad range of employment-related and people matters.
Your main tasks are:
- Managing the operational employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding, including HR administration
- Independently managing the complete payroll process for the Lugano location, from the preparation and processing of monthly payroll to the handling of withholding taxes, social insurance and payroll-related expenses, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll processing
- Advising, supporting and assisting employees and Team Leads with a wide range of HR-related matters and acting as a reliable contact personSupporting HR controlling through accurate data preparation, analyses, reports and regular controls
- Working closely with the Recruiting team on employment-related processes and ensuring a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding
- Contributing to the implementation of our HR roadmap, HR projects and the optimization of existing processes
- Ensuring the transfer of knowledge and providing training on HR processes and tools

Several years of professional experience in Swiss HR and a completed HR qualification in Switzerland are essential for this role. In particular, you bring:
- Education: A completed Swiss HR qualification, such as HR Assistant and HR Specialist (Federal Diploma of Higher Education)
- Language skills: Excellent command of Italian, fluent English and good German
- Experience: Several years of hands-on experience in Swiss HR administration and payroll processes, sound knowledge of Swiss employment law, social insurance, payroll and withholding taxes
- Professional experience: Strong numerical acumen and an analytical, accurate and detail-oriented way of working
- Experience with HR controlling, payroll data, reports and spreadsheetsGood advisory and communication skills, as well as a high degree of personal responsibility
- Tool Knowledge: Sound knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of the Abacus ERP system is an advantage
- Addtional Experience in an international environment and knowledge of global mobility would be an advantage
For this role, regular presence in our Lugano office is expected. Occasional travel to other adesso locations may also be required, typically once a month, primarily to Zurich or Bern.
