YOUR MISSION
In this leadership role you take overall responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of our Geneva operations, leading our people, managing client relationships and ensuring efficient workforce planning in a dynamic airport environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take overall responsibility for the operational performance and service quality of Checkport at Geneva Airport, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead, develop and motivate your team, fostering a strong leadership culture, accountability and employee engagement.
- Act as a key contact person for Geneva Airport, cantonal authorities, clients and other external stakeholders, representing Checkport professionally and building strong relationships.
- Take responsibility for workforce planning and resource management, ensuring that staffing levels and operational requirements are effectively aligned.
- Manage the commercial and financial performance of the operation, including budget responsibility, cost control and identifying opportunities for sustainable business development.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable safety, security, quality, regulatory and customer requirements, maintaining a strong safety and compliance culture across the operation.
- Monitor and actively manage operational KPIs, service levels, productivity and cost performance, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives where required.
- Ensure operational resilience and effective disruption management, responding proactively to irregular operations, changing customer requirements and short-term resource constraints.
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of leadership experience with a strong track record in people management, ideally in a service-driven or operational environment.
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and taking commercial responsibility, including budgeting and cost management.
- Solid experience in workforce planning and operational resource management, ideally gained in Switzerland.
- Fluent French and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
- A confident and engaging leadership personality with strong communication skills, commercial mindset, resilience and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
